Disciple Virginia spent a couple months in Mexico "searching for that rascal Jesucristo in the most obscure churches." Bless you for going on this holy mission, Virginia!

On her adventure, she found this little el niño Jesucristo, surrounded by toys and golden draping. Apparently the toys are offerings to the baby Jesus. But, dónde está Jesus's eyeballs? It's hard to see in the photo at this size, but his eyeballs are actually stuck on that wooden eye mask thingie He's holding and His eye sockets are empty.

Okay. That's just weird. Like Eyes Wide Shut mask-wearing weird.

Those angels are staring at their wee praying fingertips with great conviction just to avoid looking up at the situation.
