Premiering in a theater near you on Ash Wednesday (February 25) The Passion of The Christ a.k.a. the movie of the Mel Gibson.
As an aside, I had no idea we were now referring to Jesus Christ as The Christ. Sacred article usage, I guess. Apparently the lingo associated with this movie only gets stranger; the whole thing is in the original Christly languages of Aramaic and "street Latin." Yo yo yo amo amas amat, discipuli!
Mel Gibson hasn't had a cinematic undertaking this edgy and meaningful and inspiring since the Lethal Weapon quadrilogy. Mad Max has gone way beyond Thunderdome with this one.
The movie is about the last twelve hours in the life of Mr. Jesus H. Christ. It seems that some wild stuff goes down because the movie is rated R. Only for the hardcore!
See you guys in the concession line at the Golgotha Cineplex 24. Love that $10 popcorn.
