These Christians can explain anything away with their Bible. The evils of homosexuality. God's acceptance of homosexuality. Pro-choice. Pro-life. The glory of football. How often to change your oil. Got a moral question? The Bible's got your answer.

So here's a completely unbiased and objective question: Is it okay to brutally slaughter sweet, furry, friendly animals just so we can feed our fat faces? Well, Bible?! Is it?

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has put together this informative little site to guide you through your theological dietetic dilemma. It's called JesusVeg.com, and I quote, "Jesus' message is one of love and compassion, yet there is nothing loving or compassionate about factory farms and slaughterhouses, where billions of animals live miserable lives and die violent, bloody deaths."

Nicely put, PETA. Listen to this Jesus, who is being haunted by a giant orange slice! Respect God's creatures! The George Foreman Grill can still be put to good use with asparagus and carrots.

On a semi-related side note, you are really cheating yourself if you have not looked at another fine example of PETA's over-the-top pro-animal propaganda. It's an ad called "Bad Cats" available on adcritic.com. Check it out! Meow!
