No. J2K1-160

"Behold," this Christ seems to be saying, "behold my beautiful family of white people! Their teeth are excellent! Their hairdos immaculate! Their clothing neatly pressed! But, for my own amusement, I have turned them into zombies and they are now staring into the grill of a train speeding toward them at over 90 miles per hour! The fools! A ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!"

No, we all know Jesus wouldn't say that. One who really knows that is Arthur S. Maxwell, author of Your Bible and You. That's where this evocative portrait comes from, though the book itself came from a yard sale.

The caption tells us that "when people accept Jesus Christ and are converted and baptized, they arise to walk in newness of life."

I'm not sure, but that may mean that these lucky converts really did get hit by a train and are now dead, and Jesus is herding them up to heaven. But I'm sure He didn't actually make the train run them over. It was probably a generic railway mishap. Penny on the tracks, that sort of thing.
