No. J2K1-186
Ah, what a fey, thoughtful young Christ He is! Look at the intense, Children-of-the-Corn-ish quality in that gaze. And stylish, too, what with that upturned-collar vogueing. Of course, young JC was way ahead of His time, as Izod polo shirts weren't invented until the mid-eighteenth century. This 1947 book (illustrated by Nedda Walker, the renowned Christ portrait painter who went on to set a world record for yelling at sea) is a wonderful Cliff Notes-level primer for youngsters who wish to learn the particulars of this most gifted of children. Others may simply appreciate the inherent physical beauty in this portrait. NAMBLA members especially. --Peter Gilstrap
