This rendering of a mellow J.C. transported to the modern world--robes and all--comes from a thought-provoking little tome called Planet in Rebellion. The thing is filled with scary images of crosses superimposed against a nuclear explosion, lovely white couples getting married, even a stressed-out man with an open Bible, his "soul in conflict." Ouch.
