Some of my friends who've seen this portrait think it's perhaps not the most religiously intense image (some have even suggested that He looks like a used car salesman), but I say, "so what? This is the smiling, kind face of a Saviour who would gush, 'No need to call me Mr. Christ--it's Jesus, bud!'" And look at the tender way he's caressing that cute little sheep. After I bought this fine rendering, I left it in the back seat of my car for three weeks, just because I liked walking up and seeing Him in there, grinning through the window.
